What are our values?

Unity embraces the four non-negotiable values from "We Build People." The values are built on the principle that "Every person is valued and the focus of our ministry."

1. Every person has the right to a presentation of the Gospel at his or her level of understanding.

2. Every person needs a biblical moral compass to guide and protect him or her throughout life.

3. Every believer has unique gifts to be discovered, developed, and used to strengthen the Church.

4. Every believer has a purpose in advancing the global mission of Christ and the Church.

Unity also has some local values:

° We will be an Area Church, not just serving our immediate neighborhood.

° We will be a Relational Church, linking arms with other churches and groups to reach the entire River Valley area with the Gospel.

° We will be a Progressive Church, utilizing modern tools to spread an ageless message.

° We want to have team leadership and ministry, not just expecting the pastors or certain individuals to carry the load.

° We desire to equip everyone, so that they may fulfill God's work for them.

° We desire to continue growing, becoming large enough to increase effectiveness.

° We will emphasize grace and acceptance as we reach out to the secular, unreached people of our area.
